Quality Engineer
PromptumHire is partnering with manufacturing clients to hire Quality Engineers who can improve processes, reduce defects, and strengthen quality systems. This role supports production teams, supplier quality, and continuous improvement.

About the role
As a Quality Engineer, you will drive quality improvements through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process controls. You will collaborate with production, engineering, and leadership to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action plans (CAPA)
Develop and maintain quality documentation and inspection plans
Support audits, supplier quality, and internal quality reviews
Analyze quality data and identify trends and improvement opportunities
Work with production teams to reduce scrap and rework
Support PPAP, SPC, and control plan activities as applicable
Improve SOPs and implement standard work and training
What we’re looking for
Quality engineering experience in manufacturing or production
Strong analytical skills and problem solving mindset
Familiarity with quality systems and continuous improvement
Comfortable working cross functionally with production and engineering
Strong documentation and communication skills
Experience with ISO standards is a plus depending on client
