Forklift Operator

PromptumHire is partnering with multiple warehouse and distribution clients across Kent, Auburn, Renton, and Tacoma to hire experienced Forklift Operators who can safely move pallets and materials throughout fast-paced industrial environments.

This role is essential to daily warehouse operations and works closely with shipping teams, inventory staff, and dock leads.

About the role

Join a busy warehouse environment supporting inbound, outbound, and inventory movement. You’ll operate sit-down, stand-up, or reach-truck forklifts to move pallets, load and unload trucks, and support the accuracy and flow of warehouse operations. Safety awareness and reliability are essential as you work alongside pickers, receivers, and shipping teams.

Key responsibilities

Operate sit-down, stand-up, or reach-truck forklifts safely
Move pallets, product, and materials between staging, racks, and loading areas
Load and unload trucks, containers, and trailers
Support picking, put-away, stocking, and replenishment tasks
Perform basic equipment inspections and report issues
Follow all safety rules, speed limits, and warehouse traffic patterns
Assist with inventory counts, labeling, and bin/location changes

What we’re looking for

Recent experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment
Ability to operate sit-down, stand-up, and/or reach-truck equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for most of the shift
Strong awareness of safety and surroundings
Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
Willingness to support general warehouse tasks when not on the forklift
