About the role

As a Dispatcher / Logistics Coordinator, you will oversee the flow of shipments, route planning, and communication between drivers, warehouse teams, and customers. Your ability to stay organized, respond quickly, and manage multiple tasks is essential in ensuring deliveries are made on time and daily operations run smoothly

Key responsibilities

Schedule and dispatch drivers for local or regional routes
Track shipments and communicate updates to customers and internal teams
Monitor delivery timelines and resolve delays or route issues
Coordinate with warehouse teams on loading, receiving, and outbound planning
Update dispatch software, load sheets, and route documentation
Maintain clear communication with drivers regarding instructions, changes, or OS&D issues
Assist with transportation paperwork, bills of lading, and shipment records
Support logistics planning and workflow improvements as needed

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in dispatching, routing, logistics coordination, or transportation operations
Strong communication skills and ability to multitask during busy periods
Familiarity with dispatching systems, TMS software, or routing tools
Ability to problem-solve quickly and stay calm under pressure
Reliable attendance and professionalism when speaking with drivers and customers
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Positive attitude and teamwork mindset
Ability to work onsite (or hybrid depending on employer)
